Untenanted, the surmise of admission; the need to divest yourself of this holy estate. Namely the detached page, a legacy of hygience, relating the endeavors of all who feel called upon to restore the operation of thinking. You speak of an intelligence that comes with the body, the ability to discern a thing from its imagined weight or volume.

I move to reveal my shadow behind me, already deduced by the angle of light. Deformity, a localized phenomenon, lends resonance to this story of absence, a contraction of the vocal presence in writing. If sound leaves a print on a surface viewed obliquely as to convey the impression of air, we describe its memory as metaphor. Presage, a name attached to another body, divining the obscure motions of lungs and stomach.
